Chapter 2 Season 8 of Fortnite is here and with it, Rainbow Ink customization options for your Toona Fish. This fun new addition will have you explore your creative side by painting this previously black and white character. To do this, you will need two components: Rainbow Ink and Color Bottles. In this Where to Find Rainbow Ink – Fortnite Toona Fish Customization Season 8 guide, we will show you where to find these items and how to use them to paint the Toona Fish skin.
Where to Find Rainbow Ink in Fortnite Season 8
Rainbow Ink is one of the major additions to Season 8, similar to the Alien Artifacts from last season. You can find Rainbow Ink in chests, but not every chest will always have these. So, to find this item, you will need to locate and open these chests. This way, you can uncover up to 25 Rainbow Inks per week. You can have a maximum of 250 inks at any one time. The way that Rainbow Inks function is that they allow you to set up the Toona Fish to have different color palettes, including that of an existing character. So, for example, you can unlock the Red Knight style, and your Toona Fish will be painted in those colors.
However, to be able to do this, you first need to find Color Bottles as well. Three color bottles for each style can be found across the map. With both of these, you can then paint the Toona Fish and change its skin color. All in all, if you want to fully unlock all styles, get ready to do a lot of grinding. Also, another important thing to note is that the Toona Fish is unlocked via the Battle Pass. In any case, we hope that you will enjoy playing the newest Season of Fortnite. Happy gaming!
