To get the Scarlet Sand Slate in Genshin Impact, the first step is to go and talk to Bonifaz in Aaru Village. Talk to him to begin the quest called Golden Slumber. The next couple of steps are pretty simple; just follow where the game takes you and do what it tells you to do. Eventually, you’ll enter the ruins. Be sure to activate the teleport waypoint, then proceed until you get to the locked door. On the right of said door, there’s a mechanism hidden in a mound of sand. Use an Anemo character to blow it away. Use it to unlock the door, then beat up the enemies and keep going forward. In the far left corner of the room with two jackal statues, there’s another mechanism that you can activate, which will take you down.

The next step to get the Genshin Impact Scarlet Sand Slate is to use a Pyro character to light the four torches. yes, there are four, but you’ll need to use an Electro character to reveal / activate the fourth one. Then, activate the cube mechanism next to the smaller door to open several of them. Head down this corridor and down the stairs, where you’ll pick up the Sacred Seal: Valley. After the cutscene plays out, head to the platform and activate it to get to the upper floor. Take a look and interact with the strange machine. Lastly, report back to Jebrael and Tirzad to finally get the Scarlet Sand Slate. This item is necessary to unlock certain doors, like the one leading to the Altar of Mirages domain. However, until you charge it fully, you will encounter the You Do Not Have Enough Clearance message.
