Hu Tao Prerequisite Quests & Release Date in Genshin Impact

The release date and prerequisite quests for the Genshin Impact Hu Tao story quest, Papilio Charontis Chapter, have been announced. The launch date of the quest is March 2nd, 2021, and it should start at 18:00 (6PM, if you prefer), according to your local server time. To take the quest on, you’ll need to reach Adventure Rank 40 or above. On top of that, you have to complete the Chapter I: Act II “Farewell, Archaic Lord” archon quest. Of course, you’ll need a Story Key to unlock access to the Hutao Papilio Charontis Chapter quest.

If you don’t know what Story Keys are, you are not yet at the point where you can take this quest anyway. Don’t worry, though; the quest is permanently available after it launches, so you can catch up. Long story short, after you reach Adventure Rank 26, you will unlock the Story Quest feature. From that point on, you can earn Story Keys by completing Daily Commissions. To be more precise, you’ll get one of these keys for every eight Daily Commissions that you complete.

So, yeah, those are the Genshin Impact release date and prerequestite quests for the Papilio Charontis Chapter Hu Tao story quest. Soon, you’ll all be able to give it a try. Just remember to have a Story Key on hand for it, and make sure that you’ve finished up everything you needed to.
