Which Spartan Rage is the Best in God of War Ragnarok

The answer to the question of which Spartan Rage is the best in God of War Ragnarok will depend somewhat on your preferred play style and the situation that you’re in. So, let’s first explain what each of them is. Fury is the standard thing that Spartan Rage has always been. You activate it (L3 + R3) and you blast through enemies, getting a bit of health for every hit. Wrath consumes a part of the Rage bar and charge down the enemy with your current weapon, dealing tons of damage plus additional weapon effects. If you kill an enemy, you get a bit of health back. Valor is the most tactical. On activation, it returns a moderate amount of health. However, if you time it right before getting hit, you negate the attack, get even more health back, and get a melee attack bonus.

So, which God of War Ragnarok Spartan Rage is the best of the bunch – Wrath, Fury or Valor? Well, for my money, it’s probably Wrath. It’s the most damage for the least cost. Now, my actual favorite is Fury, since I’m a nostalgic series veteran, but realistically, I’d say Wrath. It’s more tactical than Fury, but doesn’t require the precision of Valor. Now, sometimes, this can be situational. I can’t go to deep into it to avoid spoilers. Let’s just say that some bosses become a bit less of an obstacle when using a certain Spartan Rage. Not that you have to switch between them at all to emerge victorious, of course. Feel free to share which Rage is your favorite and why in the comments.
