God of War Lifetime Sales Have Passed Ten Million Copies

So, uh, God of War sure is really, really good, in case you haven’t heard. Hell, I played it extensively on my own after we finished our coverage of it, and I ended up liking it even more. God of War is a darling of both critics and the gaming public, and quite deservedly so. As a result, it has become one of the best-selling games on the PlayStation 4. In fact, it moved over three million copies in just the first three days. And, the last we heard was that it sold five million copies. That was a while ago.

It seems that the God of War steam train has not stopped since. According to the latest figures released by Sony (via DualShockers), God of War has sold nothing short of more than ten million copies over the course of its lifetime; so, since late April 2018, aka around a year ago at the time of writing. That is really impressive. This puts it just on the tail of the PS4 remaster of The Last of Us. It’s well behind Uncharted 4, yes, but that really doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things.

As I’ve mentioned above, we did extensive coverage of the game with our God of War guides. So, if you’re a latecomer, and you are having some trouble with God of War, check them out. Among other stuff, we’ve got Aspis of Spartan Fury & Radiant Shield of Unity – How to Get and Dragon Tear Locations – Shattered Gauntlet of Ages Upgrade.
