How to get Raging Inferno of Muspelheim

As you can probably tell from the name, the item comes from Muspelheim, the realm of fire. If you’ve visited the land of fire and brimstone, you’ve noticed it’s made up of a series of challenges. The final challenge involves defeating Gondul, one of the Valkyrie bosses. Once you’ve dealt with her, she’ll drop a bunch of items. One of them will be the Raging Inferno of Muspelheim. You won’t be able to trade it in until you’ve beaten the main story, so just hold onto it.

It may sound simple, but completing the challenges is no easy feat. You’ll face strong enemies, time constraints, and more. You’ll have to prepare by equipping the best possible armor, runic attacks, enchantments and talismans you have. For instance, here’s an enchantment that gives you 5% resistance to Valkyrie attacks, and you can stack up to three of them. It would also be prudent to upgrade the Leviathan Axe as much as you can – a lot of the enemies there are vulnerable to frost attacks. Getting the Blades of Chaos buffed isn’t necessary, but it won’t hurt.

Once you get to the boss, it’s all a matter of learning the patterns. Make good use of Atreus’ abilities, and don’t be greedy. Dodge and block vigilantly, then sneak in a swing or two when the opportunity presents itself.
