Where to Find Magmasaur Eggs in Ark Fjordur

To find and get Magmasaur eggs in Ark Fjordur, you have to wander deep into fire wyvern territory, in the southeast region of the map. They live in a deep crevasse along which flows a river of lava. You can find one of the entrances into this zone at coordinates 89, 70. Follow the lava river (and be careful, because the area is crawling with monsters) towards coordinates 95.9, 80.5. In that general area, you’ll find an entrance into a cave with purple stalactites and stalagmites. It’s easy to spot, thankfully. Go inside and just follow the path all the way down. Again, be wary of the creatures that live inside; use a glider or ride a strong dinosaur to minimize the peril. At the bottom, you’ll see a large pool of magma with little scattered islands where the Magmasaurs live and breed.

So, that’s where you’ll find and get Ark Fjordur Magmasaur eggs. There’s usually five or six of them on those islands. Of course, you have to contend with the parents, who don’t really appreciate you barging into their home. A shotgun should do decent enough damage to the lower-level monsters. As for the higher-level Magmasaurs, it’s probably best to leave them be, anyway, so that they can keep producing high-quality eggs for you to snag later on. Keep in mind that you can’t tame Magmasaurs in the wild; however, you absolutely can hatch them for your own purposes. That said, don’t forget that they can only breed in lava / magma.
