The Best Assault Rifle (AR) in COD Mobile Season 5 2022 – Type 25
When it comes to assault rifles, there are a few that we find to be excellent for this season. However, our favourite for Season 5 is the Type 25. Despite some nerfs last year, the Type 25 is still a really strong and reliable gun. The weapon boasts excellent damage from a variety of ranges thanks to its raw power and decent (albeit nerfed) rate of fire. Its only real downside is a rather unpredictable recoil that inexperienced players will find hard to control. Thus, it requires practising it, but once you master it, you’ll dominate the battlefield.
The Best Submachine Gun (SMG) in COD Mobile Season 5 2022 – QQ9
The Fennec and the MAC-10, two of the previously best SMGs in the game, have been heavily nerfed in the Season 5 update. Resulting from that, the QQ9 comes out as a clear winner at the top. When it comes to SMG, what we value the most is mobility and autonomy to stay in prolonged close-quarters combat. Its impressive magazine size will allow you to deal with a couple of enemies on a single reload. There’s no reason not to choose this sniper, especially on bigger maps, as it kills everyone almost instantaneously on any range.

What we love about the Holger 26 is the weapon’s unparalleled versatility, which makes this gun stand out in its class. It can be reliable in various scenarios and on a vast array of maps. Its range and fire rate are some of the best in its class. And with decent mobility and control, it can even outperform some of the best ARs and SMGs in the game. Its only weak spot is relatively low damage, but with proper attachments, this can be fixed as well.
The Best Shotgun in COD Mobile Season 5 2022 – KRM-262
Finally, for those of you who like to bring things up close and personal, the best shotgun is the KRM-262. With its base damage of 98 points, the KRM-262 will split into atoms anything that hits from a close range. It also boasts exceptional mobility for a shotgun, allowing you to quickly reposition if needed. Its only downside is its pathetic rate of fire, but that’s to be expected from such a powerful shotgun.
