Race Against Time Treasure Hunt Forza Horizon 5, Race Like it’s 1999 with a Purrrfect Finish

As is a tradition by now, Thursdays in Forza Horizon 5 are dedicated to Treasure Hunts. In order to finish this weekly activity, first, you will need to solve a treasure clue puzzle. And for September 1st, the clue states: “Race Like it’s 1999 with a Purrrfect Finish”. What’s the meaning of this? What’s the solution to the Forza 5 Race Against Time treasure clue?

When it comes to the challenge of this Treasure Hunt, what you need to do is to win any Road Racing event available on the map. The fastest and easiest way to achieve this is by setting the difficulty to “New Racer”. Now when we know what we need to do, the next question is, of course, which car do we need to use for this challenge? The “Purrrfect Finish” part of the clue indicates some sort of feline. And when you combine a feline animal with 1999 (which is also in the clue), you will soon figure out that you need to drive the Ford Racing Puma 1999.

So there you have it, now you know what you need to do. Once you win a Road Racing event with your Ford Racing Puma 1999, a treasure chest will appear on your map. From there, just fast-travel to the location and claim your rewards. With that said, our “Forza 5 Race Against Time” guide is completed.
