Genshin Impact has a wealth of resources to collect, but fluorescent fungus is one of the rarer ones and it pays to know the locations. Once harvested, you can store it up. Fluorescent fungus made its debut in the 2.2 updates. You cannot buy it in shops, so you won’t be able to purchase large batches. This makes knowing where to find it very important. You can get hold of it in the Inazuma Region. Travel to the most southern island, Tsurumi.

Because of its elusive nature, it is best to pick fluorescent fungus whenever you come into contact with it. You will find it for use as ascension material for Thoma. It will require 170 fluorescent fungus to raise Thoma to level 80. By doing this, you can have everything you need ready for when he appears in the game.

The map has around 67 fungus spawn points. Each of these will respawn two days after harvesting. They are simple to harvest, and you don’t need any type of special interaction. The batches tend to spawn in the north and south, with fewer in the middle of the island.

There are few other uses for it yet, so it is safe to assume that some will come to mind. It could be for future characters, so it is important to build up your stock now.
