Overwatch Halloween 2021 Release Date & Time - Terror Event

Overwatch has announced the release date & time of its 2021 Halloween Terror event. The game is now live on all major platforms. Running until November, you only have a limited time to take part. Expect new skins, challenges, and some great cosmetics. Read on as we detail the Overwatch Halloween Terror event.

The event began on Tuesday the 12th of October. It is not known if major balance or updates to characters have been made. However, plenty of other spooky goodies from game modes to skins are on offer.

Overwatch 2021 Halloween Terror Event Rewards

One of the biggest attractions is the return of Dr. Junkenstein’s limited-time modes. These have been a favorite in previous Overwatch events. In particular, Junkenstein’s Revenge makes its return. In this, you need to team up with three other players to take on Junkenstein, the Summoner, the Reaper, and the Witch of the Wild.

The other game mode, Junkstein’s Endless, takes a different approach. In this, you must defend Adlersbrunn from waves of terrifying monsters. Can you hold on, or will you fall to Junkenstein’s minions?

Playing can get you special Halloween Terror Loot Boxes. A whole host of new cosmetics are also available for the event. Vampire Hunter Brigitte makes an entrance, Vampire Bat Echo takes flight and Coffin Bastion rises from the grave. All of these can make you the spookiest player in Overwatch.

Weekly challenges are also available, and you can play to earn. Week one runs from October 12th to the 19th. You can get a Skeleton Genji player icon, spray, and epic skin depending on how many games you play. Week two will get you an Einherjar Zarya player icon for nine games played. Do more and you can get a spray and epic skin.

One of the coolest items at the Overwatch 2021 Halloween Terror Event this time is the Clown Roadhog set. From October 26th to November 2nd, you can get icons, sprays, and skins. All you need to do is keep playing!
