How to Solve the Pedestal Puzzle in Sherlock Holmes the Awakened Remake

During the second chapter of Sherlock Holmes the Awakened, Holmes and Dr Watson follow a lead in the port of London. The clues indicate that the missing Maori servant’s kidnapper is a seaman, most likely connected with the recently exploded “Moskva” ship. Eventually, we will find a hidden temple and a sacrificial chamber below one of the warehouses in the port. However, the unfortunate Sherlock will venture there alone, and he will be transferred to a realm beyond our imagination.

For the very first step here, you will need to jump into your death, as that’s what the message suggests. When you jump, you will find a small oval item/key which you need to put into the Pedestal. This will activate the pedestal. Finally, when you press the key on the pedestal, one of the cages will fall into the chasm. Consequently, the door in front of you will open. However, if you try to run towards them, they will close. Hence, what do you need to do?

Firstly, you’ll need to use your “Focus” vision and examine the footsteps between the Pedestal and the doors. Once you do that, it will be clear what you need to do. When you activate the Pedestal and drop several cages, you will need to walk towards the door, do not run! The door will still slowly close, but you’ll have enough time to enter before they close completely. With that said, our guide is completed.
