How to Get Monster Hunter Stories 2 Tigrex Royal Monster

To get the Tigrex Royal Monster in Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, you have to grab a Tigrex egg and take it back home to hatch and raise it as your own. To do that, you have to find a grown Tigrex stomping about and fight it until it retreats to the nest to rest. Follow it and grab one of the eggs, then go back to base. Don’t worry, the sleeping Tigrex will most likely not attack, which, yes, is kinda heartbreaking if you think about it for too long. You know, seeing how you beat up a mother until she collapsed and then stole her child and all. Let’s not talk about it anymore.

Now, as for where you can find an adult Tigrex that’ll lead you to the nest, well, they seem to appear in Alcala Highlands. Since they’re Royal Monsters, they tend to always appear in set locations, which is good for our purposes. We’ve marked the two locations where you can find a Monster Hunter Stories 2 Tigrex Royal Monster on the map below. If you know of any other spawn points where the creature appears, let us know in the comments below.

Once you find a Tigrex in the wild, all that’s left to do is defeat it in battle. That’s, of course, easier said than done; royal monsters are way harder than the usual creatures that roam the world. Bring the best defensive gear that you have, and consider offering some charms to the Prayer Pot to help you out. Good luck.
