How to Get Whetstone in V Rising

In the early game, exploration is your best friend. As an open-world survival title, V Rising is designed to encourage exploration. Thus, don’t be afraid, go out there and learn more about the world. Just make sure to avoid the sun, lest you turn into dust. As you venture into the unknown, you’ll come across various points of interest. Your map will give basic information about those POIs. The locations you will want to find are Bandit Strongholds. That’s where you will be able to get Whetstones in the early game.

Of course, you’ll first need to deal with the said bandits which occupy these camps. You can either have a stealthy approach, or you can show them who’s the lord of these lands and take them out by brute force. Once you deal with the bandits, you’ll find quite a few useful materials there, such as Whetstones, paper, ore, and others.

How to Craft Whetstone V Rising

Asides from finding Whetstone as loot, later on, you will be able to craft them on your own. Before we explain how, fair warning – SPOILERS ahead. An option to craft them will become available once you defeat Grayson the Armorer, one of the bosses in V Rising. To craft a Whetstone, you’ll need to put the following ingredients into the furnace – 1 x Copper Ingot and 12 x Stone Dust.
