According to the official World War Z Twitter, they’re spinning up additional servers that should help the situation. World War Z Disconnecting Players From Offline Matches

Some World War Z players have been getting disconnected from the game, despite the fact that they were playing offline matches. According to the Creative Director of Saber Entertainment, they are aware of the issue and they’re working on it. While this is extremely frustrating, it’s not necessarily game-breaking. All you have to do is wait a bit, maybe a couple of minutes. The game will throw you back into the main menu, but at least you’ll get any rewards that you might have earned up to that point.
