Horizon Zero Dawn Game of the Year Edition Leaks

Horizon Zero Dawn took the gaming world more or less by storm. Not many people foresaw how huge of a hit the game would become. The game is arguably the best PS4 exclusive out there. It sure as hell earned Sony a whole lot of money, with well over three million copies sold. And, why not? Horizon Zero Dawn is a pretty great open-world exploration game, with an interesting mythos and likable protagonist. Also, it didn’t try to strongarm you into spending more of your money through microtransactions, which is sadly revolutionary for triple-A games.

GOTY Edition Horizon Zero Dawn Leaked

Now, seeing how Horizon Zero Dawn has become a smash success, it would only make sense that Sony and Guerrilla Games would want to keep banking on it. Of course, there’s the planned story DLC, The Frozen Wild, but why stop there? As The PlayStation Brahs have discovered, it seems that there are plans to release Horizon Zero Dawn: Game of the Year edition. It appeared as an entry on Play-Asia.com, but has since been removed.

Now, as you can see if you click on the screenshot above, courtesy of The PlayStation Brahs, Horizon Zero Dawn GOTY Edition might be coming out on December 5th, 2017. You’ll be able to pick it up for fifty bucks. That’s what we know for certain as of now. It’s safe to assume that HZD GOTY will include the Frozen Wilds DLC, and we’ll have to wait and see if Guerrilla will include some more stuff.
