Bungie has released a new hotfix for Destiny 2, for “more post-launch housekeeping”, along with the full patch notes. So, what exactly does the new hotfix bring to the table? For starters, it fixes several issues with items, specifically, the Veteran’s Transmat Effect, engrams granted from Trials of the Nine, and the Faction Rally emblems. The update also patches up the progress in the “His Highness’s Seal” Exotic Quest Step, making sure it increments properly now. Next up, Bungie adressed some of the problems people have been experiencing in the raid. Specifically, they get rid of the issue where raid milestones wouldn’t show for certain players after the weekly reset. Another problem in the Leviathan raid that Bungie has addressed is the one where players would get stuck getting killed constantly, if they completed an encounter right as they died.

Finally, there’s several things that the hotfix brings to the Crucible. First up, it adds invisible physics to all stairs in The Dead Cliffs, so that grenades bounce as they should. Also, they’ve adjusted spawning system values, so that players wouldn’t respawn in the middle of danger less often. Last, but not least, the hotfix adds invisible physics and kill volumes to several maps, in order to keep players inside the playable area. Here are the maps going through the change:

  • Eternity
  • Altar of Flame
  • Emperor’s Respite
  • Legion’s Gulch
  • Javelin-4
  • The Dead Cliffs
