Immortals Fenyx Rising Animated Cinematic Trailer Revealed

The launch of Immortals Fenyx Rising is right around the corner, so, of course, Ubisoft is releasing more promo material to whet fans’ appetites. This time around, we got a short, animated trailer, showing our protagonist in action. In the video, we see Fenyx battling the Minotaur, the Cyclops, and the Griffin, using a plethora of different weapons. It all seems like good fun; though, granted, the trailer doesn’t actually show any gameplay footage.

Immortals Fenyx Rising Animated Cinematic Trailer Revealed

Fenyx Rising is a new Ubisoft IP, developed by Ubisoft Quebec. It seems very engaging and colorful, so it’s a shame it got sandwiched between Cyberpunk 2077 and AC Valhalla. Not to mention that Hades really cornered the Greek mythology genre this year. I truly do hope that Fenyx manages to find an audience against the odds.

Now, while the animated trailer doesn’t feature any gameplay, that doesn’t mean that it’s all just random cool imagery. On the contrary; you will probably be battling these creatures in game. Better yet, those weapons, they are also in the game. Featured in the video are the Sword of Achilles, the Axe of Atalanta, and the Bow of Odysseus, according to the press release. If all that seems like God of War a little bit, well, it is and isn’t. You’ll just have to pick up the game and experience Fenyx’s adventures for yourself.

Immortals Fenyx Rising is coming out on December 3rd, and pre-orders are currently up and running. If you make that commitment, you’ll get an extra quest as a bonus, which is nice. You can pick it up on a staggering amount of platforms: Google Stadia, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Switch, and PC via Epic Games and Ubisoft Connect. Oh, and Amazon Luna; all six of you that use it. While we wait for the game, you can check out the animated trailer below. Stay tuned to Gosunoob for future coverage.
