Interestingly enough, it requires you to play dentist for a giant snake skeleton. How to Retrieve Salpinx from Protector’s Jaws in Immortals Fenyx Rising Pecking Order Quest?

To retrieve the salpinx from the protector’s jaws in the Immortals Fenyx Rising Pecking Order quest, the first order of business is to open the jaws of Drakon Ismenios. To do that, break apart all the red blocks around the pool where the enemies congregate. That’s two teeth already. Then, walk up to the snake’s head, and there’s the third tooth, to your left. There’s another enemy there, so take care of business. After that, break all the corruption rocks that are blocking the teeth of Ismenios. There are two on one side and one on the other.

Next up, carry all three teeth and place them into the holes in the jaws of Protector Drakon Ismenios. There doesn’t seem to be any system to it; just plop them wherever you deem fit. When all three teeth are in position, the jaws will open. Now, stand on the circular pad, and fire a guided arrow (or Apollo’s arrow, if you will). You’ll have to “drive” the arrow through a series of rings, and then land it into the brazier at the end of the course. You might need several tries to get it right, but it’s not too difficult.

Once you get it correctly, the rift next to the pad that you are standing on will open. Collect the riches that lie inside, and a brief cutscene will play. When it’s over, the salpinx will appear on the platform between the two braziers in front of the pad. Pick it up, and be on your way.
