Injustice 2 has many shaders that you can get. One of the most prominent ones are the Gods shader and the Demons shader. These can be used on all characters in the game. Depending on the character, they alter the appearance of your fighter more or less significantly. So far, it doesn’t seem like you can get them by playing the game, nor through microtransactions. You can either buy the Injustice 2 Ultimate Edition (currently going for $99.99), or purchase the Ultimate Pack ($39.99), which will upgrade whichever version you own to Ultimate.

The Gods shader pack turns every costume white and gold, and the character’s eyes glow white. Honestly, it does make every character look very imposing. Hell, if you apply it on The Flash, he starts looking a lot like Godspeed, if you squint a little.

The Demons pack, on the other hand, turns the eyes into black, smoky pits, and every costume becomes black and red. Now, plenty characters have a similar color scheme by default, or in one of the many other shaders. This shader pack doesn’t really look as awesome as the Gods one, but hey, to each his own. If you’ve ever wondered what a goth superman would look like, now you can find out.

Injustice 2 is now available on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, as well as Android and iOS. If you’re having trouble with the DLC, check out our article on Injustice 2 Ultimate Edition DLC
