How to Upgrade The Skywalker Saga From PS4 to PS5

First things first, it’s important to note that the next-gen update for The Skywalker Saga is completely free. Many developers charge around ~10-15 dollars if you want to upgrade your PS4 game to the PS5 version, but that’s not the case with Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. There are no extra expenses if you have a PS4 version. You can upgrade it to the PS5 whenever you desire, at no extra cost.

If you own a digital copy of the game, bought via the PS Store, upgrading is rather simple. All you need to do is to select the game in your library on your PS5. You will be asked if you want to install the PS5 or the PS4 version. Simply select the PS5 version, and that’s it. You can now play the next-gen version of the game.

If you own a physical copy of the game (disk), things are just a wee bit more complicated. What you need to do is to insert your PS4 disk into your PS5. Go to the game’s title page, and you will be asked if you want to install the next-gen version. Select to download the PS5 version and that’s it. The only thing you need to remember is that you will always need to have the game’s disk inside when you want to play the game.

And that’s about all you need to know about upgrading Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga to the next-gen version. Enjoy playing in 4K and 60 frames per second!
