How to Dismantle Items in Lost Ark

To dismantle items in Lost Ark, you first need to unlock the feature. Play through the game until you reach Nevatia Ruins. Once you get there, find the NPC called Archaeologist Hadim. This person has a quest for you, and when you complete it, you’ll get the option to dismantle items. Open your inventory and click the little hammer icon in the bottom left of the inventory window (as marked in the image above). From there, you can choose to dismantle either item by item, or use the sorting options to dismantle several items that fit specific categories all in one go. And that’s about all there is to it. Lost Ark Dismantle or Sell Items

Now that we know how to dismantle items in Lost Ark, we should discuss whether you should dismantle things or sell them outright. The answer to this dilemma is as simple as it can get – always go with dismantle. Always. Why? Because dismantling items rewards you with all sorts of potentially useful stuff – cloth, ability stones, all sorts of things. More importantly, even if you don’t need anything you got from dismantling, you’ve still made the right choice. If you sell the results of dismantling an object, as a rule, you’ll get more money than if you sold the object as a whole. It doesn’t make much sense to me, but that’s how the game’s economy works at the moment.
