Midnight Suns Earth Rod

In Marvel’s Midnight Suns, one of the earliest tasks you will get is to find the four Elemental Rods for Agatha Harkness. The first three of these rods – Water, Air, and Fire – are easy to find, as you can discover them simply be exploring the Abbey grounds. The Earth Rod is a lot more tricky, though. How to Get the Earth Rod in Marvel’s Midnight Suns

During your second night in the Abbey, you’ll be introduced to the spirit of Agatha Harkness. She’s going to show you how to use the Words of Power mechanic in the game (as well as the Offering Bowl). These Words of Power are abilities that you can use to explore more of the Abbey grounds and get more rewards there. Agatha is going to request that you find the four Elemental Rods. The first three are out in the open, and you will find them while exploring the Abbey. But where is the fourth one, the Earth Rod?

Well, it’s actually in one of the last places you’d think to look – inside the tomb where you were resurrected at the start of the game. The trick here is that you have to use the first Word of Power – Open – in order to get inside. Other places where you can use this ability are very obvious, as they are clearly marked with a Glyph. Hunter’s Tomb does not have this marking on it, making it very easy to miss. In any case, simply go to your Tomb and use the Word of Power Open to unlock it and get inside. The Earth Rod is in the left corner there. Once you have it and the rest of the Rods, go back to Agatha to complete this challenge.
