Middle-Earth Shadow of War Official Launch Trailer Revealed

After all the controversies and noise, Middle-Earth: Shadow of War, is finally out, for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. The launch seems to have gone fairly smoothly (although, it does have its share of errors and problems). Either way, gamers can finally experience the new adventures of Talion and Celebrimbor. Annoying microtransactions, loot boxes, huge grind in order to get to the true ending of the game and all. To mark the launch of the game, Warner Brothers have released a launch trailer for Middle-Earth: Shadow of War.

The video itself doesn’t reveal much about the game, but it sure does a good job of selling the game. They make absolutely certain to plaster every single super-positive review score over the game footage. Of course, there’s a whole bunch of quotes from critics, as well. And, to be fair, the game is getting pretty great reviews from almost all of the outlets. The video does show off the game in the best possible light, though. It opens with a tracking shot, panning through several menacing-looking orcs, waiting patiently for Talion / Celebrimbor to command. From then on, we get an awesome montage of various moments from the game. The video shows several different locations from the game, including Minas Morgul. There’s epic battles, dragons breathing fire, orcs getting slaughtered, castles falling to pieces; everything you need in a Lord of the Rings game.
