NBA 2KVR Experience releases today

2K Games released the new game from the NBA franchise today. The title is NBA 2KVR Experience and it is the first virtual reality basketball game.

This game should allow the players to immerse even more into the world of NBA, and all that from the new point of view. The game is filled with the sounds and the sights of the best basketball league in the world. It consists of mini-games and challenges.

3pt Shootout, Skills challenge and Buzzer beater mini games

In the NBA 2KVR Experience, players will have the opportunity to join NBA 2K17 cover athlete and All-Star player, Paul George. They will step onto the Bankers Life Fieldhouse stadium, the court of the Indiana Pacers, and practice with George. He will provide the players with commentary and guide them through the game. The cover star of NBA 2K17 said:
As a lifelong fan of NBA 2K, it’s exciting to see them (players) take the leap into VR, and even more exciting that it’ll be on my home court, I can’t wait for fans to dominate on the virtual court with virtual help from Gatorade.
Games that are included are three-point shootout, a speed and accuracy skills challenge and the buzzer beater countdown. Players will also earn a variety of Gatorade boosts that will aide their shooting, speed, recovery to help them to have the better score and be on the top of the top lists.

Greg Thomas, President of Visual Concepts Our made a statement saying:
The team consistently looks for new ways to deliver unique, fun experiences for the gamer, NBA 2KVR will give fans even more access to our franchise and test new skills across entertaining VR challenges.
The game will be released for the PlayStation VR, HTC Vive, and Samsung Gear VR and it will be available on November 22nd.
