The Auction House is one of the most important and fun gameplay features in NBA 2K, and the recently-released NBA 2K23 is no exception. However, as is the case with every new NBA 2K game, some things have changed from the way they worked in previous entries. Take the Auction House as an example. You will definitely want to make use of it, but to send players and cards to auction, you will first need to unlock the Auction House in NBA 2K23. In this guide, we are going to explain how this is done.
How to Unlock Auction House in NBA 2K23
To be able to unlock the Auction House in NBA 2K23, you first need to complete enough agendas. You can find these in the Season Agendas menu. More specifically, you need to unlock 30 Cards to get the Auction House to unlock.
How to Send Players & Cards to Auction in NBA 2K23
Once you have unlocked the Auction House, you can then, of course, use it. However, there are also some things that you need to be aware of here as well. To begin with, you won’t be able to auction off players until you have gotten another player that plays in the same position as a backup. Then you can choose which player you want to keep and which one to auction. Place it for auction and then wait until the player is successfully auctioned off. Just like in real life, the strategy here is simple, and you should always try to sell high and buy low.
If you were wondering how to put other things such as Cards and sneakers, it works the same way. The exception to this are the pre-order items. You can easily recognize these thanks to a stamp that features a gavel with a slashed O over it. This means that this cannot be auctioned.
