Favela COD Mobile Season 6

The Favela map will enter the roster of available COD Mobile multiplayer maps on June 29th at 2 pm EST / 5 pm PST. The map is a part of the Season 6 update. While this is a brand new map in COD Mobile, the design of the map is not new. Favela was first introduced in the COD franchise with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, back in 2009. The original map was based on the Campaign missions “The Hornet’s Nest” and “Takedown”. Call of Duty: Mobile’s Favela is based on the Call of Duty: Ghosts iteration of the map. Of course, the modifications have been made to suit the needs for mobile play.

Set in the slums of Rio de Janeiro, Favela is a medium-sized map with a multi-tiered environment. It has a lot of opportunities for ambushes and close-quarters combat thanks to its labyrinthine-like structure of narrow alleys and passages. On the other hand, the rooftops of its countless hovels are excellent spots for sneaky sniper nests. The map’s design is perfect for supporting various playstyles. Thus, you’ll find yourself at home no matter which class of weapons you prefer. That’s why this map was a favourite in the community of many COD games, and we have no doubt COD Mobile players will love it as well. Just watch out for those many flanking positions. And make sure to visit the football field at the centre of the map!
