Cuphead has been the talk of the town for a while now. The game has been in development for years, and now, it’s finally here. After seven years, the game is out, and people love it. Unfortunately, people have been experiencing some pretty severe problems. Since the game launched, according to Kotaku, people had issues with downloading and installing the game. That has since been fixed, although, some issues with the “play anywhere” have been persisting.

Another major problem that players have been experiencing is with the Windows version. The autosave feature seems to be completely bugged, resulting in players leaving the game, and returning to find all their hard-earned progress completely lost. The game simply starts you out from the beginning. So far, there’s no real fix for the issue yet. Really, you’ll have to deal with the problem somehow until the developers patch it out. Fortunately, there is a workaround, courtesy of Reddit user WickedYeti. The OP got the info directly from StudioMDHR, the developers of Cuphead. So, here’s what you should do:

There is a temporary workaround, which is to avoid using ALT-Tab to leave the game for any amount of time. Apparently it disconnects the game from being able to save any further progress. Hopefully knowing that, you can avoid this issue until we are able to send a patch.

Yeah, it’s not much, but hopefully, it will rescue a couple of keyboards, at least until StudioMDHR fixes this issue. For more info on Cuphead, check out our Cuphead Black & White Mode Secret Discovered and Cuphead How to Get P Rank – Pacifist Grade articles.
