Diablo 3 Rise of the Necromancer Pack Rewards Revealed

The Diablo 3 Necromancer Beta went live a couple of days ago. As you’d expect, Blizzard has started announcing more information about the upcoming content, and the first in line are the Rise of the Necromancer pack rewards. According to the Diablo 3 Battle.net announcement, purchasing the pack will get you full access to the new Necromancer class and several other in-game items.

Full access to the new character class gets you a Necromancer-exclusive set and Legendary items, as well as two additional tabs and character slots. The in-game include a portrait frame, pennant, wings, banner shape and sigil, and even a Half-formed Golem to keep as a pet.

So far, Blizzard hasn’t announced the price of the Rise of the Necromancer pack, nor the exact release date. This should come as no surprise, since they have a tendency to hold off on such announcements until the content is good and ready to go.

However, some fans are already voicing their displeasure over Blizzard charging for a new character class. They’re already guessing as to when the pack will launch and how much it will cost. The consensus seems to be somewhere around twenty dollars, which is a price not all are willing to pay. Some have mentioned that such a price would be appropriate for a full-on expansion with a new story and such. This is all speculation for now, however. We’ll just have to wait and see how the story unfolds. Either way, we’ll be sure to keep you posted as more information becomes available.
