The content and prices of the second Guild Wars 2 Path of Fire expansion package editions have been revealed revealed. This new chapter in Guild Wars 2 comes out on September 22, 2017. It features a new story, maps, mounts, elite specializations, and more.

There is a free preview weekend for all players who want have a taste of the upcoming changes. It will take place between August 11 and 13. You’ll be able to go through the starting mission and ride a raptor as you explore the Crystal Oasis map. There is a lot of Path of Fire content to be explored.

Note: The expansion comes either as a standalone product or bundled with the first expansion, Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns. The bundle costs $20 more than the standard edition. You can find all the details on the official Path of Fire GW2 page.

Day One Edition

The Day One edition, aka the pre-purchase bonus, consists of three things. They are included in all editions if you buy the game before its release on September 22, 2017.

  • The Spearmarshal’s Gift – A special gift from an anonymous friend in Elona. Players will use this to choose one weapon skin from the Sunspear Weapon Set.
  • Miniature Balthazar – This exclusive miniature replica of the god of War and Fire is on the warpath.
  • “Elonia Envoy” title – Whether a new arrival to Elona or coming home, build bridges by displaying this symbol of respect and friendship.

Standard Package

This is a $30 edition. It offers access to the second expansion and the much-needed boost, especially if you decide it is time for a new profession and you don’t want to go through the leveling process.

  • Guild Wars 2: Path of Fire : A game serial code for account creation or upgrade for the Guild Wars 2: Path of Fire expansion.
  • Max-Level Boost: Boost one of your characters to level 80. The boos is delivered in a permanent account-wide bag slot, with a hoard full of goods including gear, gold and more.

Second GW2 Expansion Deluxe Package

The second in line is the Deluxe edition, which costs $55. Unlike the standard one, it offers four new in-game goodies. For $25 more, you get an outfit, a casino pass, an additional character slot, and a brand new identity.

  • Spearmarshal’s Presence: An heirloom passed down by Elona’s greatest heroes. This item will unlock the Spearmarshal’s Garb outfit for use by every character on your account.
  • Lily of the Elon Permanent Pass: Rub elbows with Amnoon’s elite with an exclusive pass to a luxury riverboat casino notorious for serving both the nobility and criminal underground. This decadent den of iniquity offers convenience and comfort to those in the known, with access to vendors.
  • Additional Character Slot
  • Identity Repair Kit: Use this kit to give your character a brand new look and name to go with it. This kit includes one Total Makeover Kit and one Name Change Contract.

Ultimate Path of Fire Edition

The most expensive package will be $80. It contains everything from the Deluxe edition, plus in-game currency. You’ll get 4.000 gems, which are normally worth $50, so you save $25 compared to getting the deluxe edition only and purchasing the gems separately. This amount of gems will provide you with a decent number of in-game goodies.
