When is Minecraft 1.21 Update Coming Out

As of the time of writing this article, we still do not yet know when is 1.21 coming out in Minecraft. Developers Mojang have not announced an official release date. But this doesn’t mean that we don’t know anything about update 1.21 and when we can expect it. Based on the release schedules of previous updates, we can expect 1.21 to arrive sometime in mid-2024, most likely in June.

Minecraft updates have been released in June for the last couple of years, with 1.19 The Wild launching on June 7, 2022, and 1.20 Trails and Tales launching on June 7, 2023. Mojang has also confirmed that they are following the same release cycle as last year. As such, it is safe to assume that we are going to see 1.21 in June 2024. Of course, take this with a grain of salt. Release dates can often change at the last moment due to unexpected circumstances and other random factors. But, as of right now, June 2024 is the most likely release date candidate for Minecraft 1.21.
