Mortal Kombat 11 Shao Kahn Gameplay Trailer Released

NetherRealm Studios has released a new character gameplay trailer. This time, it’s for none other than Shao Kahn, the ruthless emperor of Outworld and the most legendary villain of the Mortal Kombat franchise, aside from Shang Tsung, maybe. Nobody’s scared of Shinnok or Quan Chi, let’s be honest. Anyway, the video plays out exactly like you’d imagine. We get to see Shao Kahn in action, from various combos to a truly cruel fatality. And I’d be disappointed with anything less from the likes of the legendary ruler of Outworld.

Shao Kahn mostly fights with his infamous hammer, plus his spear. Every single move he pulls is its own sort of fatality. He’s just an unstoppable machine of pain, and nothing stands in his way. Hell, the ending to his Fatality is using his hammer to knock his opponent’s head through their body and right out their back. Oh, and his trademark insults he hurls at opponents are back, including the famous “You suck!” Just watch the video below to see what I’m talking about.

Now, if you want to get your hands on Shao Kahn right of the bat, you’ll have to pre-order the game. We don’t know yet whether you’ll be able to unlock the emperor of Outworld as a playable character in the game proper. So, it’s up to you to decide whether or not Shao Kahn is worth pre-ordering Mortal Kombat 11. The game comes out on April 23rd, so have less than a week to make your decision.
