So, it’s that time of the year again; time for yet another NBA 2K title. The pre-order early access has ended, and now, the whole world can play NBA 2K19. You can pick it up on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and even on iOS. Giannis Antetokounmpo from the Milwaukee Bucks is on the cover of this year’s game; that is, if you buy the “regular” edition. LeBron James is on the cover of the 20th Anniversary Edition, which costs $99.99. It comes with a bunch of other goodies, including “100,000 Virtual Currency, MyTEAM cards, LeBron-themed digital items for MyPLAYERs and more.”

NBA 2K19 is bringing in some new features, as well as updated versions of stuff that was already in the previous games. For example, the Takeover feature, which allows you to “unlock special moves and abilities never before seen on the court, or activate Team Takeover and unleash the power of your full squad.” The Neighborhood mode has also gotten an update. It includes Under Armour Cages, live events, day-to-night transitions, the Jordan Rec Center, and so on. You can play the all-knew MyCAREER, which will take you from China to the G-League, and onwards to the NBA. It even features an all-star voice cast, including the likes of Haley Joel Osment.

Last, but certainly not least, is the new and improved MyTEAM. You’ll be able to create your very own MyPLAYER card. Also, look out for the NBA 2K19 MyTEAM Unlimited tournament, which will take place between October 13th, 2018 and February 13th, 2019. You’ll be playing the new MyTEAM Unlimited Mode, featuring “5-on-5 NBA-style gameplay and allows users to choose any 13 cards from their Collection.”
