Rival 3 Gaming Mouse

The Rival 3 mouse, for one, is pretty aesthetically pleasing. I like the more subtle neon as opposed to the eye-gouging neon common in gaming regalia. It’s made of “hyper-durable polymer” which keeps it nice and light. It also features the TrueMove Core optical sensor, which is pretty high-end for $30 that the mouse retails for. Also, the TrueMove Core 8,500 CPI that should deliver a fairly precise performance with “true 1-to-1 tracking.” When it comes to durability, SteelSeries has tested the mouse for 60 million clicks. Last, but not least, you can make use of the on-board memory that can memorize up to five, fully customizable CPI profiles.

Apex 3 Gaming Keyboard

First off, just like the Rival 3 mouse, I love the lighting on this keyboard. It comes with “whisper-quiet gaming switches and gaming-grade anti-ghosting.” Also, it has low-friction switches to keep things nice and quiet, as well as durability tested to over 20 million key presses, according to the press release. Also on the list of features are “high-quality magnetic wrist rest, the same dedicated media keys and clickable metal roller, and three-way cable routing system underneath the board.” Oh, and it’s water-proof, so you don’t have to worry about accidental spills. To tie this all in a nice bow, it’s available for $50.

Apex 5 Gaming Keyboard

The Apex 5 is the most expensive item here, going for $100. However, there’s good reason for this. The press release states that the keyboard contains “a premium magnetic wrist rest, aircraft-grade aluminum build, OLED Smart Display, media controls and volume roller, and customizable per-key RGB lighting.” You can also “customize the OLED screen with GIFs, view on-the-fly information from games like CS:GO and Dota2, view song information on TIDAL, incoming Discord messages, settings and more.” As for the keys themselves, the Apex 5 combines “the smoothness of a membrane switch, with the added durability, performance and satisfying tactile click of a blue mechanical switch” bringing out the best from both worlds.
