Nier Replicant Shark, Rice, Mushroom - Bon Appetit

Bon Appetit in Nier Replicant is a side quest that requires you to bring rice, mushrooms, and a shark to the tavern keeper in Seafront. The game won’t really tell you where to find any of the ingredients, so the major question is where to find a shark, mushrooms, and rice. Fortunately, they can all be found in Seafront. However, that doesn’t mean it’ll all be easy, as we’ll show in our Nier Replicant Shark, Rice, Mushroom – Bon Appetit guide.

How to Get Shark, Rice, Mushroom in Nier Replicant Bon Appetit Quest

To get shark, rice, and mushrooms for the Bon Appetit quest in Nier Replicant, you really don’t need to leave Seafront. The rice and mushrooms are a pretty simple affair. All you have to do is go to the Seafront Grocery Store. Rice costs 600 gold, and mushrooms will set you back 800 Gold. I guess you could say it’s a bit on the pricier side, but it’s the simplest solution. Plus, since you’re about to do some fishing, you’ll likely recoup the cost by selling the ones you don’t want. Either way, it’s worth the time you’ll save.

AS for the shark, that’s the trickiest part of the Bon Appetit quest. The first thing you’ll need are Sardines, since they are the best bait to use to catch a shark in Nier Replicant. You can purchase some from the fishmonger near the Seafront pier. Or, if you wanna fish for them, you can simply do so at the pier, where the old guy that gives you the Fisherman’s Gambit quest. That’s also where you need to fish for sharks – at the pier in the south of Seafront. Just keep in mind that you need to at least complete Fisherman’s Gambit 4 to increase your fishing skill enough to be able to catch sharks in the first place.

Once you have a shark, rice, and mushrooms, go back to the Seafront tavern and talk to the keeper again to complete the Nier Replicant Bon Appetit quest. You reward should be 5000 Gold, which is a pretty solid sum for your troubles. Again, the shark is really the biggest potential problem, especially if your fishing skill is not up to snuff. Good luck!
