How to Get to Lake Acuity Pokemon BDSP

To get to Lake Acuity in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl or BDSP, the first order of business is to get to Snowpoint City. We cover that in our How to Get to Snowpoint City guide, but basically, you first need to get the Strength Hidden Move and Defog as well. Then, head to either Eterna City or Celestic Town and proceed into Mt. Coronet. Once in the bowels of the mountain, head west and then north until you eventually exit onto Route 216. Follow this new road all the way till the end. To the east, you’ll find Route 217 leading into Snowpoint, while continuing north takes you to the entrance to Lake Acuity, but there are two Team Galactic members blocking it.

So, to get to Lake Acuity in Pokemon BDSP or Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl, you need to beat Candice, the seventh gym leader, and earn your seventh badge. You can then backtrack to the same place, as shown in the screenshot above, and the two guys should be gone. You can then enter the area of Lake Acuity and, well, see what there is to see. No unnecessary spoilers here. But, yeah, those are the steps that you have to follow to finally reach Lake Acuity. By the way, after you beat Candice, go and find her grandma in Celestic Town. It will help you unlock the National Dex.
