How to Get to Snowpoint City in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl

To get to Snowpoint City in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl or BDSP, you first need to get your hands on both the Defog hidden move and the Strength hidden move. Defog is not super-necessary, but you might as well. For more info on both of these, check out our How to Get Strength Hidden Move and How to Get Defog guides. Once you have both of those, or at least the Strength HM, head either to Eterna City or Celestic Town. Both of these places have paths that take you into Mt. Coronet. Go inside the mountain and keep going west and then northward whenever possible, using Strength to move boulders out of your way as necessary. Eventually, you’ll exit the mountain and find yourself on Route 216, which will lead you further north still.

The only thing left to do to get to Snowpoint City in Pokemon BDSP or Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl is head east down Route 217, which will lead you straight into the town. You can then freely explore the snowy city, including finding the entrance into Lake Acuity, which is right between Snowpoint and Route 217. There’s also Snowpoint Temple, the harbor which takes you to the ring in which you become Champion, and more. And that’s about all there is to it. The only “problem” here is finding your way through Mt Coronet, but you’re supposed to explore it in detail anyway, for your sake.
