To hatch the Egg from Hearthome City in Pokemon BDSP or Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl, you need to walk ten thousand steps after you get it from the Hiker. Well, sometimes it will hatch below that number, but you need to get up to about 9980+ steps. Make sure to use the Pedometer on your Poketch to count the steps properly, and also, you can get on the bike and ride the required distance. There’s a long, straight stretch that goes through Solaceon Town from north to south that you can ride up and down on until you get the little message that the egg is hatching.

Inside the Hearthome City Egg in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl or BDSP, you’re going to get a Happiny. This absolutely adorable little critter evolves into Chansey if you give it an Oval Stone and then level the Happiny up during in the daytime. There’s no limit on which level you need to be before doing this. You can get the Oval Stone in the second floor of the Lost Tower, by the way. From there, if you max out your friendship level with the Chansey, it’s going to evolve into Blissey. So, that’s how that works, and that’s what you’ll get from the Egg from Hearthome City.
