How to Get Dewpider in Pokemon GO

There are several ways to get Dewpider in Pokemon GO and then evolve it into Araquanid now that the Water Festival is in full swing. I’m pretty sure it will stay around after the event ends on May 20th, but until then, you have a few options. Let’s go through them real quick.

First off, Dewpider will be spawning in the wild pretty often. Make sure to use the radar feature to look for them and place Lures at PokeStops in the hopes of drawing even more of them in. There’s also one Water Festival Field Research task that rewards you with a Dewpider encounter (specifically, the one where you have to catch fifteen Pokemon). There’s also Timed Research task / Catch Challenge that requires you to make twenty-five Curveball Throws, for which you get another Dewpider encounter.

How to Evolve Dewpider into Araquanid Pokemon GO

Now, let’s find out how to evolve Dewpider into Araquanid in Pokemon GO, now that you know how to get them. Well, all you need to do is gather 50 Dewpider Candy and use them to get yourself the evolved version. There are no special items you need to do, no Buddy tasks you have to complete; the Depwider evolution works exactly the same as it does with so many other Pokemon.

So, all you really need to do is keep catching Dewpiders and grinding that Candy. Obviously, you can use Pinap Berries to get more Candy for each successful “hunt.” If you have Silver Pinap Berries to spare, give those a try. Oh, and brief side note before we sign out: Dewpider doesn’t have a Shiny version at the moment.
