Yes, Deoxys can be shiny in Pokemon GO, in 2022 and in general. All four Deoxys forms (Speed, Attack, Defense and Normal) have their shiny variant, to be more precise. Therefore, if you’re a Pokedex completionist, you technically have to catch eight different versions of this thing. That’s likely going to be a bit of a problem, as we’re going to explain in the next section. On the bright side, at least they’re easy to tell apart from the regular Deoxys.
