Pokemon GO Exeggcute Spotlight Hour 2023

The 2023 Exeggcute Spotlight Hour in 2023, which will also feature the shiny version of the egg Pokemon, will take place on Tuesday, April 4th. Just ahead of Easter, which makes perfect sense. As is the case with every one of these events, it will happen between 6 PM and 7 PM local server time. This week’s event bonus is going to be double Catch Candies. This means that you’ll get twice the Candies for every Pokemon you catch, not just Exeggcute. That means you’ll have a good opportunity to stock up on all sorts of Candies, but that is especially true for Exeggcute, though, considering how often you’ll be seeing it in the wild during the event. Speaking of…

Can Exeggcute be Shiny in Pokemon GO

Yes, Exeggcute can absolutely be shiny in Pokemon GO, so the 2023 Spotlight Hour can be a great opportunity to catch as many of them as you can. It’s easy to tell the difference between a regular Exeggcute and a special one. The latter is (or are) golden yellow, as opposed to the pinkish hue you’d normally expect. If you manage to score one of them, then you’ll also be able to evolve it into a shiny Exeggutor. All you’ll need to do so is gather fifty Exeggcute Candies, which should be easy enough during the event. And be sure to save one shiny in case the Alolan Exeggutor makes a return this April.
