Can Morelull and Shiinotic be Shiny in Pokemon GO 2022

No, Morelull and Shiinotic can’t be shiny in Pokemon GO in 2022. At least, that’s the case at time of writing. Then again, the two adorable mushroom Pokemon are making their debut in this game on October 14th, when this year’s Festival of Lights kicks off. In other words, there’s a decent chance that the developers will add shiny versions at some point in the future. It has happened before. In the meantime, you can simply work on getting as many Morelull as possible, so that you can evolve a Shiinotic. You’ll need fifty Morelull Candy to do that. As far as we know, that’s the only requirement; you don’t have to have any special evolution item or anything like that.

So, that’s all we know when it comes to shiny Morelull and Shiinotic in Pokemon GO in 2022. Obviously, if anything changes, we’ll be sure to keep you posted. Now, one thing that we do have to mention is that the Festival of Lights will feature some very interesting shiny Pokemon that you should definitely keep an eye out for. For example, you’ll have a chance to encounter a shiny Galarian Ponyta and Galarian Darumaka. You will also have a higher chance to bump into a shiny Chinchou. As for Raids, they will feature fun Pokemon like Alolan Raichu, Galarian Weezing, Hisuian Braviary, and many others. And, of course, Xerneas will be in five-star Raids, and it too can be shiny. And yes, it will be blue in your Pokemon storage, and we can explain why that is.
