Can Yveltal be Shiny in Pokemon GO 2022

Yes, Yveltal can be shiny in Pokemon GO in 2022 (and therefore, in the future as well). The only issue is that, much like all other shiny variants, it’s very rare that you should encounter one. Making things even worse is the fact that Yveltal doesn’t really tend to appear out in the wild. Rather, it mostly appears in five-star Raids every now and again. If you’re on the hunt for a shiny Yveltal, you not only have to wait for it to return to the Raid rotation, but you then have to go from battle to battle and hope that the gods of RNG grant you an encounter. Even then, you still have to figure out how to defeat it.

So, that’s about the size of it when it comes to shiny Yveltal in Pokemon GO in 2022. It’s not all doom and gloom, though. For one, you’ll have the chance to fight this Pokemon in five-star Raids from September 25th to October 8th as a part of the Season of Light, so be sure to mark your calendars, set your alarms, etc. The other good thing is that the shiny Yveltal is very easy to tell apart from the regular version, seeing as how it has white markings all over its body instead of black ones. So, I wish you the best of luck out there. We’ll write a whole guide on how to fight Yveltal in Raids in September. For now, just know that it’s weak against Ice, Rock, Electric and Fairy attacks.
