How to Get Souvenirs from Buddy Pokemon GO 2023

To get Souvenirs from your Buddy in Pokemon GO in 2023 (and in general), you first need to reach the level of Ultra Buddy or above. That means you need to get to 150 hearts with them. You can read more about that in general in our Pokemon GO Best Buddy guide, in which we give you advice on how to increase your friendship levels in general. Point is, once you get to Ultra Buddies, keep walking around with the same Pokemon, feed it, and so on. Every now and again, it will bring you one of fifteen possible Souvenirs. They don’t serve any purpose whatsoever, aside from being a memento. Here’s a list of them:

  • Flower Fruits
  • Tropical Shell
  • Tropical Flower
  • Skipping Stone
  • Lone Earring
  • Cactus Fruit
  • Torn Ticket
  • Marble
  • Small Bouquet
  • Snowy Pinecone
  • Beach Glass
  • Chalky Stone
  • Pretty Leaf
  • Stretchy Spring
  • Mushroom

So, that’s the general information about Souvenirs from your Buddy Pokemon in Pokemon GO. However, we do also have to mention is that the Sustainability Week event will grant you extra Souvenirs. In fact, there’s one Event-exclusive Timed Research task that requires you to receive a Souvenir. The reward is an encounter with Bounsweet. If you weren’t certain how to complete that Research Task, now you know. Aside from this, I’m not aware of any other use for the Souvenirs’ they’re just little bits of garbage that your Pokemon brings as a token of friendship. If I’m missing something, let me know in the comments.
