How to Take Snapshots of Ghost Type Pokemon in Pokemon GO 2023

To take snapshots of a Ghost Type Pokemon in the Pokemon GO Halloween 2023 event, the first thing is to find one. Shouldn’t be too difficult, given that they’ll be all over the place from October 19th to October 26th. And that will include Greavard and Houndstone, making their debut in GO. Anyways, once you find a Ghost Type Pokemon, tap on it as if you’re about to catch it. However, once you’re in the catch screen, ap the camera icon in the top of the screen. Set the shot up and and tap the camera in the bottom of the screen to take the photo. The arrow in the bottom left will take you back to the catching screen. You’ll have to snap one Ghost Type Pokemon for certain Halloween Timed Research tasks and three for one of the Field Research tasks.

Pokemon GO Take Snapshots of Ghost Pokemon Not Working

If the Take Snapshots Pokemon GO feature is not working for Ghost Pokemon in the 2023 Halloween event, the most common reason might be that you haven’t given the app permission to access your camera, photos, media, and files on your device. Take care of that. Also, if you’re using AR to take photos and you don’t see the yellow footsteps, point the camera away from the flat surface and slowly point it back. Now, the quests do not specify that the Ghost Pokemon have to be wild, so maybe you can also take snapshots of those you have in storage. It’s worth a shot. Take a look at our separate guide on snapshots to learn how to do that. And for more info on the event, take a look at the official page.
