How to Get Peat Block in Pokemon Legends Arceus

Before Ursaring becomes Ursaluna, its primary function is for use as a ride. Hop on its back and scout around the Crimson Mirelands. Look in pools and keep your treasure detector active. Once it flashes yellow, get Ursaring to dig for you. It may not always be a peat block that you find, so keep looking around. Eventually, you should find one and you only need one peat block for each evolution.

A lengthier way to get one is to complete request 86, titled “Gone Astray In The Icelands”. This involves some wandering and a battle in the Alabaster Icelands. Once complete you will get a host of rewards, one of which is a peat block.

How to Use Peat Block in Pokemon Legends Arceus

Once you have the Peat Block, you can use it to evolve Ursaring. For this, you need to use the new system that tracks moon cycles. We have a full guide on the phases of the moon in Pokemon here.

Travel to a camp and rest until midnight. Once you wake, check to see if it is a full moon. If it is not, then you need to keep sleeping until one arrives. When it is, then save your progress.

Open up your inventory and head to the peat block. Select it, hit use, and move to Ursaring. It will tell you they are compatible, and you can begin the evolution. Read our full guide on how to evolve into Ursaluna here.
