Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Best Pokemon for Tera Raids

The best Pokemon for Tera Raids in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet depend on which Pokemon you’ll be fighting in the Raid. You have to take into account the type of Pokemon in the Raid and then choose a Pokemon it’s weak against. That said, there are a few Pokemon that do really well against almost everybody. We’ve listed them for you below. If you feel like we’ve missed any, let us know in the comments.

  • Iron Hands – One of the best Pokemon for Raids, even solo. Check out our Best Iron Hands build guide for more info.
  • Koraidon – Your Fighting/Dragon motorbike can actually do quite well in Raids with Orichalcum Pulse and Protosynthesis.
  • Miraiodon – Same as Koraidon, except it’s Electric/Dragon and has a high Sp. Atk instead of the regular Attack stat.
  • Azumarill – Another incredible Pokemon for almost all Raids as a Fairy/Water type. Consult our Best Azumarill build guide to see how to prepare it properly.
  • Maushold – Armed with the Population Bomb, this Pokemon is one of the most overpowered creatures in the game.
  • Sylveon – As a Fairy type, and given the right “gear” and moveset, this Eevee evolution can do surprisingly well in Raids.
  • Perrserker – This Steel Pokemon can do quite a lot of damage, especially with its Steel Spirit Hidden Ability. You get the Pokemon by evolving the Galarian Meowth.
  • Ceruledge – While it is exclusive to Pokemon Violet and you have to farm Sinistea to obtain the Malicious Armor to earn this Pokemon, it’s Fire/Ghost dual type is very versatile.
  • Garchomp – The Dragon/Ground Pokemon is always an excellent choice for Raids, and Scarlet and Violet is no different.
