How to Start Mochi Mayhem Epilogue in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet

To start the Mochi Mayhem Epilogue in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, you are first going to have to complete the story of the main game, as well as the stories of the two DLCs, Teal Mask and Indigo Disk. That will definitely be a prerequisite. Then, of course, you’ll have to download and install the update, which is coming out on January 11th, 2024, at 6 AM Pacific Time / 9 AM Eastern Time / 3 PM Central European Time / 1 AM on the 12th of January Canberra Time. Once that’s done, the next step will be to collect the Mythical Pecha Berry. At time of writing, we don’t know how to do that, so we’ll be sure to add more information when we have it. (UPDATE: according to the official video, it’s a Mystery Gift).

The final step to star the Mochi Mayhem Epilogue in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet is to go to Mossui Town in Kitakami and visit Peachy’s stand. Interact with the little pink mochi at the top left of the stand (see picture above) and… I assume you’ll have to give it the Mythical Pecha Berry, we don’t know yet. I’m sure the game is going to make it very clear what you’re supposed to do. Whatever it ends up being, that’s how you’ll kick off the Mochi Mayhem Epilogue. Don’t expect it to be a long story, though; I’d imagine you’ll be able to complete it in about an hour or two. Which doesn’t mean that there won’t be other stuff to do beyond jut the story. We’ll have to wait and see.
