How to Get Thunderbolt TM in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

To get the Thunderbolt TM in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, you need to pick it up from one specific place in the open world. First off, make your way to the Pokemon Center east of the town of Porto Marinada. That’s in the west of Western Province (Area Two). Now, from the Pokemon Center, head to the south. There’s a small area below you where you can drop down. After you’ve done that, turn to the left and look towards the cliff wall. You’ll spot a narrow, yellow pillar of light. Head over there and pick the item up. That’s the Thunderbolt TM. After you collect it, you can craft it for 10,000 LP, 5x Pachirisu Fur, 3x Tadbulb Mucus and 3x Pichu Fur. Yeah, it’s pretty costly.

And that’s how to get the Thunderbolt TM in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. There is one more location that we’ve run into. It’s in the far east of East Province (Area Three), next to a really big boulder. You might have to go around said boulder to spot it, depending on which direction you approach from. As far as we can tell, you can’t really access this area without being able to climb and / or fly. Plus, it’s in the middle of nowhere, so it’s a little hard to find. So, I’d recommend consulting our screenshots below to see where you need to go. Definitely make sure you get it, though, and save on those crafting materials.
