Starfield Vanguard Piloting Exam Tier 6 Completion

In our Starfield Vanguard Piloting Exam Tier 6 Completion guide, we are going to explain how to complete Tier 6 of the exam easier in the Supra El Ultra mission. Doing this is not necessary to complete the quest, but the reward is way higher than for just doing Tier 5. I say “just,” but that’s a nightmare in and of itself. Fortunately, there’s a way to basically activate cheats in the simulation, which makes the exam significantly easier. Here’s what you have to do.

How to Complete Vanguard Piloting Exam Tier 6 in Starfield

In order to complete Tier 6 of the Vanguard piloting exam in Starfield, in the Supra El Ultra quest, you are going to need some help. Depending on the difficulty you’re playing on, even Tier 4 can be a problem. And no matter what, Tier 5 is a nightmare, let alone the final tier. Now, right after you start the mission, or after Tier 3, you have time to get out of the chair. Do that, head out the doorway and turn around. On the right of the door, you’ll find the Simulation Controls terminal. You can use this to upgrade your shield and damage, as well as generate an ally. Problem is, the former last for one Tier only, and you can get only one ally. That is simply not enough. Luckily for you, there’s a way to cheat even further – select the Authorized Users Only option. If you’re Security is on Rank 2, you can hack it.

The next step that will help you complete the Starfield Vanguard piloting exam Tier 6 in the Supra El Ultra mission is to hack the terminal (or autosolve it if you can). For the outer circle, we’ve used the third and sixth “solution circle”, and for the inner one, the fourth and fifth. Once that’s done, you can activate permanent upgrades to your ship and a debug ally. Aside from those two, activate an ally from the regular menu. The combo of two allies and perma-upgrades should be enough to carry you through all six tiers. You’ll still have to put the work in, but it’ll be so much more manageable. Your reward for pulling this off will be twenty thousand credits (as compared to the “measly” seventy-eight hundred for Tier 5), as well as a shocked reaction from Commander John Tuala. It’s worth it.
